Admission Requirements

Bachelor's Programs

  • Completed upper secondary education (high school diploma)
  • Proof of English proficiency (IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 90)
  • Program-specific prerequisites (mathematics, sciences, etc.)
  • Statement of Purpose and Letters of Recommendation

Master's Programs

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Proof of English proficiency (IELTS 6.5-7.0 or TOEFL 90-100)
  • CV/Resume and Statement of Purpose
  • Letters of Recommendation (typically 2)
  • Relevant work experience (for some programs)

Application Deadlines

Autumn Semester: January 15th (First round), April 15th (Second round)

Spring Semester: August 15th (Limited programs)

Student Visa Requirements

Admission letter from recognized Swedish university
Comprehensive health insurance (non-EU/EEA students)
Proof of financial support (SEK 8,514/month for entire study period)
Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)
Completed application form
Payment of application fee (SEK 1,500)
Passport-sized photographs

Important Update (2025)

From January 2025, the maintenance requirement for students will increase to SEK 9,000 per month to account for inflation and rising living costs.

Work Rights & Opportunities

During Studies
